Today, I woke up feeling quite refreshed despite having only six hours of sleep. Perhaps it was a result of my relaxing weekend which consisted of naps, shopping, indulging in food and napping again. Usually, Carlo and I take advantage of the extra day and head to the beach, but this weekend we stayed in. And my body is so happy that we did.
On Friday, I met up with Olivia and Franco at High Street to kick off my new Friday night habit- running. For someone who barely runs, I was able to complete 3 rounds nonstop (3.6k) in about 20 something minutes (I’ll have to time myself on the next run). My goal this Friday is 5.6k. I’ll keep on increasing each week to see how far I can push myself cardio-wise. After running, we met up with my cousin Genie and her boyfriend, Dino for dinner at Cyma. Two thumbs up for the lamb chops with bell pepper rice!
During practice last night, I landed on my injured arm during warm up and I am so so happy that it doesn’t hurt right now. Apparently, instead of December, the competition has been moved to the 21st of November. This means that I have exactly 2 months to train. The clock is ticking. Time to get very, very serious.
